Skittles were made commercially in 1974. In 1982, domestic production of skittles began in the United States. They have sugar shell which carry the letter S. Skittles are very good and very tasty but they are not so healthy. I belief there are many different types of skittles, some of them are Wild berry, Original fruit, Tropical, sour. My favorite skittles are the sour one because its sour from the outside but sweet from the inside but of course the other one's are good as well. The Skittles logo, around the world, is ''Taste The Rainbow'' there have been different logos in different countries some of them change the official motto.
Original Fruit Skittles:
*Lime (Green) - classic lime, leaning more towards the tart side than the floor-wax side of things. *Grape (Purple) - a pretty well rounded fake grape flavor.
*Lemon (Yellow) - good and sour with some hints of zest.
*Orange (Orange) - juicy and flavorful.
*Strawberry (Red) - it smells like cotton candy and has a tangy, creamy berry taste.
